I just received the first of my three turbine generators which I have ordered online.
I have therefore started working on my wind turbine blade design. I have decided to start with the wind aspect as opposed to the water aspect since i do not need to worry about keeping the motor dry. The following youtube clip showcases my first design. The blades will be made of durable wind resistant fabric so that it can be easily folded together. The main cylinder in the middle will be telescopic for more convenient storage. I plan on prototyping both a 1 foot tall model as well as a 2 foot tall model. I will also be looking at other possible wind turbine blade designs to test.
